While a majority of tycoon and simulation games are on the PC platform,Pizza Tycoonhas been confirmed for consoles with an immediateXboxrelease. The first everPizza Tycoontitle was released for DOS machines in 1994, but the latest iteration isn’t limited only to PC as Assemble Entertainment, Gentlymad Studios, and Godspeed Games have announced anXboxversion.Developers behindPizza Tycoonhave confirmed that Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S players can download the simulation game on their consoles to build their ideal pizzerias using the title’s broad toolkit. This upgradedPizza Tycoonwas first released in 2018, and it fittingly allows players to create unique pizzas to fulfill various challenges and orders in the game.Pizza Tycoonjoins othersimulation titles likeCities: Skylines,Two Point HospitalandCampus,Microsoft Flight Simulator, and more on the Xbox platform, making it one of the ideal console platforms to experience the simulation genre.RELATED:Microsoft Reportedly Lays Off More Xbox EmployeesIn a recent press release, Assemble Entertainment confirmed thatPizza Tycoonis launching on Xbox with over 75 pizza ingredients to choose from, several customizable pizzerias, and what it calls “10 steps of world domination.” Going beyond thesimulation nature of the gamewhich may feel familiar to some players and allows them to roleplay as pizzeria owners, they will also bribe and sabotage to edge out the competition. Though the game is normally $14.99,Pizza Tycoonhas a limited-time 20% launch discount to entice early adopters to give the unique sim game a chance.

Pizza Tycoonwas seemingly first released asPizza Connection 3based on the identical cover art used for both games, and the screenshots used to reflect the content on offer. The game has launched only on Xbox, but it doesn’t seem tied to anytimed Xbox exclusivityas it joins the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation libraries later this month. Because of how many other pizza-related tycoon games existed across multiple platforms, it shouldn’t be confused with the mobilePizza Tycoongame either which provides much less graphical fidelity than what’s on offer with the Assemble Entertainment release.

Given how fresh this latestPizza Tycoontitle is, it’s currently unclear how it stacks up to the competitors, but players may be able to craft their dream pizzas based on Assemble Entertainment’s announcement. AlthoughPizza Tycoon’s only Xbox review assures prospective buyers that it isn’t one of the multipleshovelware games that exist on PlayStationand Xbox alike, the singular statement may cause some to be skeptical of what’s being installed.

Pizza Tycoonis available now for PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S, and is set to release for Nintendo Switch, PS4, and PS5 on February 23.
