It will be made possible with Pokemon that are brought fromPokemon Homeand into a compatible linked game.

Users expressed how great of an idea this new feature will be forPokemon Home, especially since some users are wondering with worry if it would be possible for their Pokemon to re-learn a move that has been deleted after transferring them to another game. It can be upsetting for a Pokemon’s build to be altered when it was not the player’s intention. If a move a Pokemon knows is not allowed in a particular game it is replaced with a move that is possible for that Pokemon when transferred. Players intending to transfer Pokemon from older generations to the latest generation should be aware thatmany moves are not available inPokemon Scarlet and Violet.

Although the new features being added toPokemon Homeare nice quality-of-life changes, fans still find the application flawed. Not every Pokemon is transferable to and fromPokemon Scarlet and Violetand previous games, so it limits Pokemon that are allowed into the Paldea region such as Generation 1 Squirtle and Snorlax. Nevertheless, the connectivity betweenPokemon Homeand the latestPokemongames has allowed new possibilities between Pokemon and the playerbase.

Fans anticipated theconnectivity betweenPokemon Scarlet and VioletandPokemon Homefor a year and a half. Although the latest games experienced visual and technical difficulties, they reportedly sold 10 million units during their first week after release and surpassed 20 million in 2022 alone. Compared to previous generations,Pokemon Scarlet and Violetare the first open-worldPokemongames that allow players to explore the new region Paldea and embark on their journey following a non-linear path.

Pokemon Homeis available on Android, iOS, and Nintendo Switch.
