SomePokemon Scarlet and Violetplayers are displeased about the minimal differences between a few shiny and regular Pokemon.Pokemon Scarlet and Violetare finally out, and while many fans are finding a lot to enjoy, others are unhappy about the numerous technical and performance issues. Glitches are common in the latest titles, but some work in the player’s favor, like theduplication glitch inPokemon Scarlet and Violetthat gives players infinite shiny pocket monsters. While mostPokemon Scarlet and Violetplayers have found it easy to catch some shinies, some are rare and harder to find. One group of players have raised another concern related to the severalshiny pocket monsters inPokemon Scarlet and Violet. As per a viral image on social media, many of the shiny variants of Pokemon look nearly identical to their original counterparts.RELATED:Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Modder Gets the Game Running at 60 FPSTwitter user UltimaShadowX uploaded an image that sheds light on the above issue and proves that some shiny Pokemon and originals have little to no difference. The picture shows original and shiny variants of five well-known Pokemon fromScarlet and Violet, separated in two columns. The first one is Paldean Tauros, a regional variant of Tauros, anormal-Type Pokemon. As expected, both shiny and regular Tauros look indistinguishable as both have similar color tones, with the shiny one slightly darker than the original. Moreover, there seems to be no difference between the shiny and regular variants of the following Pokemon, Tandemaus. Both the shiny and original Tandemaus are white, and only a handful ofPokemonfans would be able to tell the difference.
Charcadet is the next Pokemon in the image, with only one noticeable difference between the original and shiny, the color on its cheek. The regular Charcadet has a red-orange mark on its cheek, whereas the shiny version has a blue spot. Charcadet evolves intoCeruledge and Armarougeafter being exposed to particular items and the shiny versions are exactly the same as their originals, except for a single difference on their faces. Like Charcadet, the color of their cheek mark is different for shiny and original.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violetfans are understandably frustrated about the minimal difference between the original and shiny variants of some Pokemon. Some gamers might miss out on a shiny Pokemon as they can confuse it with a regular one due to its near-identical appearance.
PokemonScarlet and Violetare available now on Nintendo Switch.
