The Tragic Fate of Ethan’s Hands in Resident Evil 7 and Village
The torture of Ethan Winters began when he debuted as the protagonist of 2017’sResident Evil 7.In a mission to locate his missing wife, Ethan arrived at the farmhouse of the Baker family, and in less than an hour, finds hisleft hand stabbed by none other than his wife Mia, who was infected and under the influence of Eveline. Shortly after, Ethan got his left hand completely severed. The amazing this is that Ethan could reattach his hand to his arm without any deficits in its function.
Fast forward toResident Evil Village, and Ethan Winters finds himself back in the nightmare that he thought he left behind in Louisiana. In less than an hour into the village,Ethan got his hand chewed off by a Lycan,losing several fingers. How Did Ethan’s Hands Manage to Survive Everything?

However, players who have gone far enough inResident Evil Villagewould know that there is an actual reason why Ethan can withstand all this torture and remain basically intact.
