ASkyrimplayer has noticed an interesting detail about the Dark Brotherhood’s Cicero. Anyone who has playedSkyrimwill instantly recognize the jester Cicero, but this detail will shock even the most experienced of players.

Skyrimhas become known for featuring one of the most detailed open worlds ever created for a video game, with plenty for gamers to discover even over a decade after its release.Skyrim’s Dark Brotherhoodquestline remains a crucial part of this world, with most believing it to be one of the highlights of Bethesda’s beloved RPG. While the game did face some criticism for other factions such as the Companions or the College of Winterhold,Skyrim’s Dark Brotherhood remains a huge reason that gamers still play the title to this day.

Redditor Harangutangue made the realization that in the optional side quest Delayed Burial, the Night Mother’s coffin is actually in Cicero’s crate. Players can encounterCicero before his amazing appearance inSkyrim’s Dark Brotherhood questline, and he tells the player that his mother’s coffin is inside the crate. However, by using noclip, it’s revealed that Cicero is actually transporting the Night Mother herself on his journey. Without using console commands, there’s no way for players to open the crate and view what’s hidden inside, and is just further evidence of Bethesda’s incredible attention to detail inSkyrim.

There’s a reason thatSkyrimremains one of the most talked about games online. There aren’t many games out there that have so much detail hidden away, with still plenty more to uncover, even 12 years after release.OneSkyrimplayer recently made an interesting discovery about Forsworn Briarhearts, and it’s likely that players will be finding more even afterThe Elder Scrolls 6is released.

WhenThe Elder Scrolls 6finally releases, gamers will be expecting the Dark Brotherhood to make its return. The questline has become essential toElder Scrollsgames, with many of Bethesda’s best questscoming from the Dark Brotherhood. DespiteSkyrim’s efforts, plenty of gamers believe thatElder Scrolls 4: Oblivionperfected the Dark Brotherhoodformula in 2006, although hopefully this won’t deter Bethesda from taking on the challenge in future titles. There will be no way to know for sure until more details onSkyrim’s sequel are revealed afterStarfieldlaunches later this year.
