ASkyrimplayer posted a video of them stacking iron ingots on top of each until they managed to reach nine ingots total.Skyrimphysics allows players to drag and place items manually, but it can be difficult to balance them sometimes.

Lately,Skyrimplayers have been putting a new twist on playing the well-loved Bethesda RPG by trying to perform challenging accomplishments using the game’s physics engine to manually manipulate items. Since players can grab items and drag them around, launch them into the air, or pose them on surfaces, there are a variety of physics-related challenges that can be done inSkyrim. One player managed to pull off aperfect bottle flip trick inSkyrim, while another player expertly threw a cabbage directly into a pot. And now, a player has moved on to balancing iron ingots.

In a video posted to theSkyrimsubreddit, player Joubi666 showcased some impressive balancing skills by stacking nine iron ingots on top of each other. The video doesn’t start with the first ingot, but instead with Joubi666 carefully lowering the ninth iron ingot onto the top of the stack. The tension is thick all the same, though, with the ingot being ever so slowly lowered onto the others and then released. The ingots sway sideways slightly but stay upright, and Joubi666 zooms out into third-person view to show the precariously balanced tower. While it does look rather unstable and is definitely uneven, it does stand steady. It’s hard to say whether or not this is more impressive than theSkyrimplayer who landed a cabbage basketball shot.

Skyrimoriginally came out in 2011, although the updated anniversary edition was released in 2021. Despite the game’s age, players are still finding innovative ways to enjoy the world ofSkyrim, whether that’s through fun stacking challenges or through theextensive collection ofSkyrimmodsthat fans have created. It shows how imaginative and dedicated theSkyrimfanbase is that different challenges like this continue to show up and that there is such a huge variety of mods for the game.

A lot of fans have been vocally frustrated about how long Bethesda is taking to develop and releaseElder Scrolls 6since it has been over a decade with very little news about the game. Xbox headPhil Spencer did confirm thatElder Scrolls 6won’t release until afterFable, so fans of the series will still have quite the wait to endure. As long as players keep coming up with interesting new things to do, however, that wait won’t be boring.
