TheSpring 2024 anime lineupis stacked with goodies. While some genres and demographics always receive more attention than others, this quarter covers most of the fundamental categories, including a few that tend to be ignored. For instance, Spring 2024 has multiple sports and racing anime, perhaps making up for Winter 2024’s lack of options. There are also plenty of action, isekai, comedy, slice of life, and romance stories, which are generally always a given.

As always, theSpring 2024 anime scheduleis split across multiple platforms, with Crunchyroll, HIDIVE, and Hulu all having a couple of exclusives. Consequently, if someone wishes to consume every 2024 anime release, they will need to pick up a few subscriptions. Alternatively, people can just focus on the one service that covers most of the shows they want to watch. Let’s take a look atwhere every Spring 2024 anime is airing.

Updated on June 16, 2025:The Spring 2024 anime season is fully underway at this point, with only a couple of shows and sequels yet to debut. At this point, each streaming service should have announced their full lineups, so this article has been updated to what should be its final form.

Crunchyroll Spring 2024 Anime Lineup

Euphonium, andLaid-Back Camp. That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slimeis also airing its third season, and the isekai anime seems set to retain the high standard of quality established by its two predecessors.

Crunchyroll Winter 2024 Anime Dub Lineup (English & Hindi)

As always,Crunchyroll has also announced its dubs for the season, with quite a few anime receiving English versions (along with other languages). While many viewers prefer subs, dubs provide viable and valuable alternatives, and the work put into them should be respected.

The wide range of languages adopted by Crunchyroll not only highlights the streaming platform’s international presence but also emphasizes anime’s global reach in this day and age. Once upon a time, dubs were limited to a handful of major shonen properties; nowadays, there are far more options available, and most of them tend to be quite good.

HIDIVE Spring 2024 Anime Lineup

Jellyfish Can’t Swim & Whisper Me A Love Song

HIDIVE has no hope of matching Crunchyroll’s quantity, but the service occasionally targets niche properties that benefit from its more flexible restrictions. At the moment, none ofHIDIVE’s Spring 2024 animeparticularly fit that bill, althoughJellyfish Can’t Swim in the NightandWhisper Me a Love Songboth look good.Urusei Yatsurais also one of the few Winter 2024 shows set to continue for a second cour.

As always, HIDIVE’s lineup is niche and will hopefully prove to be quality over quantity. Due to only having three Spring 2024 anime, the service is difficult to recommend on its own, except for people who are primarily interested in one of these series. It might be better to get a one-month subscription once all three anime end.

Netflix & Hulu Spring 2024 Anime Lineup (& Maybe Other Platforms)

The Fable, Go! Go! Loser Ranger!, & More

Perhaps frustratingly to some, Hulu and Netflix tend to receive a handful of anime exclusives per season. Spring 2024 is no exception, and Hulu has one of the season’s bigger newcomers in the form ofGo! Go! Loser Ranger!Based on a manga by Negi Haruba, who wroteThe Quintessential Quintuplets, the superhero anime could surprise a lot of people who might not be familiar with the shonen source material. The platform’s other anime are quite exciting as well, although they will probably be quite niche. The Fablehas a unique dark comic style that might not click with everyone, whileMission: Yozakura Familyis shaping up to be a decent action-romance option.Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 2 Part 2is also airing on Hulu.

Netflix will continue to air new episodes ofDelicious in Dungeon, which is a two-cour season; more importantly, the service has announced a couple of newSpring 2024 anime. The Grimm Variationsappears to offer alternate takes on Grimm’s Fairy Tales, with the trailer previewing the different stories tackled throughout the season. It is a neat concept and a fairly fun watch.T.P BONis a bit harder to pin down as the preview does not paint a clear picture of what the show will contain; however, it appears to be a time-travel story that follows two kids as they visit different eras on missions. Sort of like an anime version ofDoctor WhoorDC Legends of Tomorrow.

Amazon Prime Video has picked a surprising Spring 2024 anime exclusive withTonbo!, a golf-themed sports series set on a small island. While not among the season’s standout names, the show has gotten off to a pretty good start, and it could shape up to be a fun addition to the genre.

Spring 2024 Anime With No Streaming Platforms

Blue Archive & More

With each series now a few episodes deep, the Spring 2024 anime that have yet to announce Western streaming services are almost certainly not going to do so. Every season has a few shows that just do not make it across the pond officially, and while they might eventually be added to platforms like Crunchyroll or HIDIVE, their initial skip is not an encouraging sign. Usually, these anime are quite small properties that are unlikely to attract any attention outside of Japan; however, Spring 2024 has a couple of strange exceptions.

Blue Archive the Animationis the most shocking show to not make it to the West, at least for now. Before the season’s commencement,Blue Archivewould have seemed like a sure-fire bet to air on at least one platform. Sure, the game is far more popular in Asia than in Western countries, but it has a decent following in the latter as well. Genuinely unexpected

Although nowhere near as shocking asBlue Archive,Girls Band Cryis also quite a sad miss, especially since its first few episodes were quite good. CGI anime tend to attract a lot of criticism, and while some of it is warranted, the animation style has improved in recent years.Girls Band Crynot only looks fine but has generally likable characters.
