Star Wars Battlefront 2premiered in 2017, which means many players would have moved on since then to newer games. However, the DLC and numerous mods made for the PC version of the game have likely helped to keep the game in the public eye for the last two years.

One fan by the name of Nanobuds1220 has decided to take it upon themselves to create a custom mod to allow players to see - and eventually play as - the nowlegendary Baby YodainStar Wars Battlefront 2. The mod is currently incomplete, but it’s still a work in progress, so players can expect to see it improve even further over time. The creator has responded to certain criticisms regarding the mod already, noting that Baby Yoda’s giant eyes, skin tone, and ear size are all undergoing tweaks at this time, so it should look more in-line with what players expect after they’ve had more time to work on it.
Of course, this isn’t the first time that Baby Yoda has made an appearance in games and the media surrounding them. Its outrageous popularity all over the net and with the entireStar Warsfanbase was bound to lead to this. As a result, the adorable little guy has been integrated into games likePokemon, where one player created aPokedex entry for Baby Yoda.
That’s not all, either. Another fan somehow got the idea for a crossover betweenDeath StrandingandThe Mandalorianin mind, and ended up creating an epic piece of fan art. Here,Baby Yoda takes the place of BB, being carried around in the same tank that Sam ofDeath Strandingcarries.
Of course, there are plenty of other mods that fervent fans have created sinceStar Wars Battlefront 2’s release. Whether players want to chuckle at apink Darth Vaderor bring in another Disney production by integrating Buzz Lightyear ofToy Storyinto it, the mod creators have brought all this to life and more. However, chances are none of them are as cute as a finished Baby Yoda mod could be, so players will just have to wait and see what this one looks like once it’s completed.
