What Earth Crystals are Used For in Stardew Valley
Mainly, Earth Crystals are used to makeEarth ObelisksandMayo Machines. An Earth Crystal can also be used in thesewing machine to make shirts, indyeing to make orange dye, and as a requirement for severalquests.
Note:As of Version 1.6, Earth Crystals are no longer a possible Midnight Carp Fish Pond request, and they are no longer used to make Sturdy Rings.
To make a Mayonnaise Machine that turns eggs into mayo, players will need to reachFarming Level 2. This will unlock the recipe for this machine; after that, collect 1x wood, 15 x stone, 1xcopper bar, and 1x Earth Crystal. Then, once the machine is made, you can pop in an egg to get some delicious, fresh mayonnaise for all your cooking and gifting needs.
These rocks are also needed to make an Earth Obelisk. This useful building can transport the main character from their farm to the mountains in an instant. It takes 500,000g, 10xIridiumBars, and 10x Earth Crystals. Players will need to have completed the Goblin Problem quest to unlock the teleportation buildings in the Wizard’s Tower.

Best Places to Find Earth Crystals
The best place to find Earth Crystals is onlevels 1-39 of the mines, where they can be foraged directly off the ground without any tools. Players can also get them from killing Duggies, which spawn on levels 1-29, as they have a 10% chance to drop them when defeated.
