However, ConcernedApe was quick to assuage concerns, noting that this patch would not cause any further delays to the console or mobile versions. According to the dev, this patch will fix some bugs that have emerged in the game, and will add “a few goodies” to the title.
When asked about any potential teasers, ConcernedApe shared that the “goodies” would include some new additions to theStardew Valleyfishingsystem and mining. Other than that, the developer is remaining tight-lipped about what the content will entail. However, he also noted that fans won’t have to start a new save to discover the new additions. Fans responding to the news seem to be excited and surprised at how the developer continues to work on the game after all this time.
