The most important factor to consider when obtaining new gear is your stat priority. In general, you should follow a rule like this:
Haste and Versatility are solidly the best and worst options. Mastery and Crit are pretty even and interchangeable, which should make gearing your Disc Priest a little easier.
Important Notes For BiS Lists
It is important to note that any jump in ilvl by more than 10 points almost always results in the higher ilvl item being better. If you have an upgrade of 5 ilvl or less, compare the stats based on the stat priorities to decide the better item.
When weighing options of other items not listed below, refer to the stat priority of the class and spec. Keep in mind that stats eventually have diminishing returns, so it is not required to have absolutely every slot stack the same 2 stats. Best Shoulders
Some good options listed below. If 4-piece is good enough, you’ll likely wear the shoulder tier here.
Best Back
There is no shortage of cloak options for Disc Priests. Take your pick beyond what is below and sim what you have.
Best Wrist
Unless it’s an ilvl upgrade, your best bracers come from Mythic+ over the ones from Raiding.
Best Hands
Both raid gloves have Crit and Mastery, so tier gets the edge there. Plenty of good options in Mythic+ too beyond what we highlighted.
Best Legs
The Crit on tier legs is nice, but the Versatility is not the greatest.
Best Rings
You can get a lot of Mastery from the raid ring and stock up on Crit and Haste in Mythic+.
Best Trinkets
If you’re an alchemist, picking up the profession trinket is a no-brainer.
