Marvel fans aren’t the only ones who are both excited and curious to see how theX-Menare introduced into the MCU. LongtimeX-Menproducer Simon Kinberg doesn’t know when or how the group will make its entry into the MCU, but he has confidence in Kevin Feige to pull it off well.
Kinberg started his superhero movie career as a writer onX-Men: The Last Standand thenX-Men: Days of Future Past. He had enough success on those movies that he was promoted to the producer on every X-Men andX-Men adjacent moviesince, including bothDeadpoolfilms. He was also the director for what was the final film in theX-Menfranchise outside the MCU,Dark Phoenix. His newest project has nothing to do with Marvel, but it seems like he’d be willing to return if and when he is called.

In an interview with IGN about his latest projectThe 355, he talked about his faith in Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige. In that interview, he said that he has complete faith in Feige in bringing the X-Men, whether they are old or new, into the MCU. Kinberg was also asked whether or not he knowswhat version of the X-Menwould make an appearance. While saying he has no idea what that answer might be, he also said that not only does he think that Feige will handle it well, but that he believes the Marvel head is the “greatest producer in the history of cinema.”
He then added that when someone looks at everything “pound for pound” when it comes to quality and commercial success, it’s really not a contest when talking about Feige and who else would be considered the best. He made it clear that he didn’t think there was anyone who held a candle to Feige when it came to the kind ofsuccess that the MCU has seen. Feige has certainly had his fair share of success when it comes to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Spider-Man: No Way Homeis the most successfulmovie to hit theaters since the coronavirus pandemic hit. It’s also one of the most successful movies to hit theaters in the last few years. While there have been some other movies that have struggled to reach that level of success, it seems as if the MCU in general is having plenty of success with Feige at the helm.
